The Curse of the Crusaders
A Halal horror story
During the capture of Jerusalem by Saladin’s Muslim armies, a group of renegade Knights Templar breaks into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and steals the bejewelled Hand of Fatima. Demons in the form of Djinn pursue them and their descendants through the centuries until the sacred object is at last restored to its rightful place in the Mosque.
This story addresses a neglected demographic: young Muslim males, who have had to rely on horrors permeated with Christian symbolism – the cross as a protection against vampires, for instance – and it also has potential as a video game, with each scene representing a different level.
